We’re Connecting Wolves Fans All Over the World!

We’ve been working closely with Premiership football club, the Wolverhampton Wanderers, to connect Wolves fans all over the world.

The Platform81 design and development departments have been working tirelessly throughout 2019 to unveil a new website for the Wolverhampton Wanderers. This project is particularly close to the hearts of those working in our Bromsgrove offices who have been supporting the Wolves both on and off pitch for several years now.

Kicking Off 2019 with a Brand-New Website

In 2018 we helped the Wolverhampton Wanderers celebrate their promotion to the Premier League by creating an exciting new website where fans could follow live updates of the promotion party as it unfolded on 7th May. Now, less than a year-on, we’re doing our bit for Wolves fans once more by unveiling a brand-new website designed to bring fans even closer together. Introducing “Worldwide Wolves”.

Tackling Engagement

The Worldwide Wolves website was designed to increase fan engagement with the football club by creating an official network of supporter clubs for Wolves. Here fans can find their nearest supporters club, allowing them to meet with likeminded fans to watch footie or travel down to games with.

“With over 100 official Wolves supporter branches across the globe, the Worldwide Wolves website needed to accommodate the huge volume of users that would be accessing it on a regular basis. Networking Goals

The Worldwide Wolves Website gives Wolverhampton Wanderers a new, purpose-built platform to encourage networking between fans and boost brand awareness in the process. User experience was at the forefront of our minds when we designed and built the Worldwide Wolves website.

In order to make networking as simple and as straightforward as possible for fans, we created an easy-to-use, interactive map allowing fans all over the world to see the precise number and location of supporter clubs in their location. From here, fans can navigate to the clubs’ individual profiles to learn details such as the name of the Chairman and number of members. Fans can even apply to join clubs directly from the Worldwide Wolves website, making the website the go-to resource for club owners, members, and fans alike.

We’re exceptionally proud of the hard work we put in to creating a fan-orientated website for one of our favourite football clubs. We hope to see the number of supporter clubs and members grow exponentially over the years as fans interact and engage with the Worldwide Wolves site.
