Reviving the Legacy of Football Pioneers in 1967 America

What we did

  • UI/UX
  • Website Design
  • Website Development

In the summer of 1967, as the world was buzzing with the sounds of The Beatles and Monkees dominating the charts, a group of visionary entrepreneurs including LA Lakers owner Jack Kent Cooke, formed the United Soccer Association.

Teams were imported from Europe and South America to play under the banners of North American cities. These soccer pioneers travelled from coast to coast aiming to plant a flag for the Beautiful Game – a journey that ended with the LA Wolves and Washington Whips contesting one of the greatest finals ever seen on American soil, wowing fans and lighting the spark for Soccer in the USA.

We were tasked with the design and build of a website to tell the story.

Web Design & UX

We’ve crafted a visually striking, single-page website that blends simplicity with boldness, drawing inspiration from the expansive imagery and stylish typography reminiscent of the 1960s. Our design ethos seamlessly intertwines a retro aesthetic with modern functionality, ensuring an immersive and engaging experience for visitors. Through this captivating platform, we invite users to explore the rich history of the team, discover its remarkable achievements, familiarize themselves with the talented players, and stay updated on upcoming matches. Additionally, we offer compelling video stories that provide deeper insights into the team’s journey, creating a dynamic and multifaceted narrative that resonates with fans and newcomers alike.
