At Platform81, we are passionate about working with our clients and watching their business grow, whether this be from the ground up, or during any part of their journey.
Following a client recommendation, Cocaranti, a high-end clothing boutique in Knutsford approached us as they were looking for a brand-new website, to fall in line with a recent brand refresh they’d undertaken.
Cocaranti already had an existing site however the design had long become outdated, and whilst functionality was fine, it didn’t showcase the boutique’s premium quality and service. Cocaranti, like many in 2020, wanted to improve their brands online presence so that their ecommerce store would become their flagship. Alongside this they wanted the look and feel of the site to capture and replicate the style of their more prestigious shopper.
“With the products on site being high-end designer clothing, it was important that we gave the new site a premium look to suit. The site is clean and easy to navigate, featuring close-ups of the clothing to add textured depth to the design. Our main aim was to incorporate their new pink and grey colour scheme from their recent brand refresh; however, we also created a secondary palette to accompany and compliment these tones.” Ryan, Senior Designer
As well as the design undergoing a transformation, we also wanted to focus on improving the user experience with seamless transitioning between pages and products. Due to current circumstances and customers not being able to visit the boutique physically we wanted to ensure that the customer journey they experience online was as close in quality and standards as they would in store.
Further additions to the site to bring it up to fashion industry standards included a wish-list allowing customers to purchase favourited items at a later date, third party payment integration, Klarna, and an option for E-Gift vouchers.
