Clent Hills Vets is a veterinary practice with clinics in Bromsgrove, Hagley and Rubery. They care for over 6,000 small animals and pets around Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

The project…

Clent Hills felt that their previous website had become outdated and was no longer serving their clients and their needs. We worked in partnership with another local Bromsgrove agency Spud Design to create a brand new website which would give a more accurate representation of the practise today.

The team at Spud Design completely re-designed the website, giving it a fresh, clear and modern new look.

What we did…

We then stepped in to complete the build. Clent Hills Vets had a really strong web presence to begin with, so it was really important for us to maintain this. The site had an active news page, and visitors regularly used tools on the site such as the symptom checker and booking system. The website also performed well in the search engines so it was essential that we carried the authority of the old website over.

The website was designed to be component based, with editable sections on every page to make it as easy for the client to update as possible. This was really important as they wanted to be totally self sufficient, and keep the website regularly updated with blog posts, videos, tips and so on. We ensured that they could mix and match the sections to give them the functionality they needed while maintaining consistency across the website.

The site was built on the WordPress platform, making it incredibly easy for the client to log in and keep the website up to date with no knowledge of coding needed.

Due to the nature of the business, it was also essential that the site was optimised for mobile so people could use it on the move.
