A Website Dressed to Impress with Black Edge Style

Here at Platform81, we work closely with our clients to achieve their desired goal so when we were contacted by owner of local business Black Edge Style, with the prospect of making their visions for a e-commerce website become a reality, it was a project we didn’t shy away from.

Aimed at the professional woman, the website needed to showcase their bespoke and personal services in a sleek, sophisticated manner whilst appearing stylish and confident; exactly what client Laura wanted to instil in her customers.

Laura, Black Edge Style Owner explained, “When starting my journey to find a web designer I spoke to a lot of people. From the outset, I had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve and after my initial consultation with Platform81, I knew they were the team I wanted to work with. They listened, they understood, and they delivered.”

With the target audience also short on time, we developed the client’s idea of a ‘wishlist’ to allow users to save desired products, without the need for checking out instantly. To also emphasise the personal service that Black Edge Style wanted to offer we incorporated a ‘Personal Profile’ section with a members area, where customers would be invited to login and access exclusive ranges to shop before the rest of the public.
